Why does the price vary depending on the type of product?

The price for product photography may fluctuate based on several factors related to the product itself:

     1. Complexity: Intricate surfaces or textures may require more time and effort to capture effectively, leading to higher costs.
     2. Product preparation: Tasks like cleaning, stuffing, or steaming the item before photography can impact the overall cost.
     3. Lighting needs: Different surface materials interact with light differently, necessitating adjustments in lighting setup or techniques, which can affect pricing.
     4. Retouching requirements: Surfaces that are reflective, transparent, or with imperfections may require more extensive post-processing work.
     5. Professional softwares to achieve the desired results.
     6. Equipment and expertise: Specialized equipment and expertise may be needed for accurate surface photography, impacting pricing based on the photographer's investment and skill level.
     7. Additional resources: Some surfaces may require props, backgrounds, or studio setups to enhance visual appeal, adding to the overall cost of the photography service.
Can I get an invoice for your photography services?

Absolutely! We can generate an official tax invoice for our clients in Mexico upon request. Please inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure compliance with local regulations.
I’m located in a different city/country, can you still photoshoot my product(s)?

Distance is not an obstacle for our services. We offer remote product photography, allowing you to ship your products to our studio from anywhere in the world. After the photoshoot, we'll promptly return your items. Additionally, we can arrange virtual meetings or video calls to ensure we fully understand and meet your vision and requirements.
Is there a minimum order requirement?

Absolutely not. We're able to work with as few as one image. However, please note that we offer packages that may include a variety of images. We’re looking forward to hear about your next photoshoot.
What’s a brief and photography shot list?

A brief is a short questionnaire available via the "Request a quote" buttons, designed to gather essential details about your required service.

A shot list is a comprehensive document that describes the number of images, their size, angles/points of view, color palette, and props to be used during the photoshoot.
Shot lists help the client and photographer achieve a shared understanding of all the photoshoot details, ensuring beautiful and predictable results. If you already have such document, it's great! If not - we will help you to create one before the photoshoot.
Why are briefs and shot list important?

Well-done briefs enable us to provide a more accurate quotation and reduce the chances of price adjustments before the photoshoot.

Shot lists act as a roadmap for the photographer, approved by the client beforehand. It helps to achieve successful and predictable result!  They are also crucial for revisions; if a client requests changes in composition not outlined in the shot list after the photoshoot, it's considered a new image and billed separately. Similarly, if the photographer deviates from the pre-approved shot list, a new picture is required and it would be made at the cost of the photographer.
Can you proceed with a photoshoot without a brief and shot list?

While we value your confidence in our creative process, it's best to have a clear direction outlined in a brief and shot list. However, we can proceed without these documents, but full payment upfront will be required, and post-production revisions would be charged separately.
Is there any size limit for products?

In our studio, we can accommodate products with a combined total size on three sides not exceeding 150cm (L+W+H) ≤ 150 cm. If your item exceeds this limit, please indicate it in the brief, and we will explore suitable solutions.
Where are the photos taken?

For product photography services, magic happens in our studio, equipped with professional studio lighting and props.

For on-site photoshoots, we provide sessions with natural light at agreed locations within Guadalajara and the metropolitan area. Travel expenses may apply if outside this area.
Can I attend the product photoshoot in person?

While we appreciate your interest in being present during the photoshoot of your product, however, due to space limitations in our studio, we're unable to accommodate in-person attendance. The shot list you approve beforehand serves as our guideline ensuring transparency and saving your time.

Please note that if individual shot approvals are necessary, our services will be quoted on an hourly basis rather than per image. This allows us to ensure flexibility and dedicate adequate time to meet your specific requirements throughout the process.
What are your payment terms?

To secure the session date, a 50% deposit of the total quoted amount is required. The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of the final material, initially provided with watermarks and in a smaller resolution. High-resolution images will be sent once full payment is confirmed.
What is the estimated timeframe for receiving the final images?

The delivery time depends on the complexity of the project. Typically, it takes about 5-7 days for the entire process, including the photoshoot and retouching. For precise timing based on your project specifics, please contact us to discuss your requirements in detail.
What’s included in the photoshoot?

1. Comprehensive consultation and guidance to develop a tailored concept aligned with your vision and brand objectives.
2. Professional images that meet specified resolution requirements.
3. Expert retouching for superior image quality and visual appeal.
4. Use of studio lighting equipment to ensure optimal lighting conditions.
5. Utilization of professional software programs for top-quality results.
6. Two revisions during the post-production phase.
7. Cloud storage and gallery access for one month after the shoot for convenient image retrieval.
Why retouching is essential in product photography?

Retouching plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and appeal of product images, ensuring they appear polished and professional. By removing imperfections, improving clarity, and highlighting key features, retouching presents the product in its best light, increasing its desirability to consumers. It's important to note that while retouching enhances visual presentation, it maintains the integrity of the product's technical characteristics, including colors, size, and shape.
Can you explain the different levels of retouching you offer?

Certainly! Our retouching services cater to various needs and preferences. Here's an overview:

1.Basic retouching: Includes color and exposure adjustments, white balance correction, resizing for different platforms, and minor dust removal.

2. Medium retouching: Involves basic adjustments plus removal of distracting elements, such as correcting product verticals and aligning labels, adding shadows or reflections to catalog images, and replacing the background when necessary.

3. Detailed retouching: Advanced techniques like background color alteration, item addition or removal, label replacement with different or better-quality artwork, enhancing packaging defects, smoothing out wrinkles on textiles or other materials, creating levitations, merging multiple images through stacking, utilizing AI-generated enhancements, and more.

Please be aware that advanced retouching is usually suggested for images intended for high-quality print or large screen display. We'll assess and recommend the appropriate level of retouching based on your project's image requirements during the quoting process.
Why does the color of the image differ between my phone and computer?

The variation in color calibration among different screens can affect how the picture is perceived. Please keep this in mind when providing feedback. To address color concerns, each package includes two post-production revisions. For accurate color reproduction, providing photos from previous marketing campaigns that you've approved for colors is highly recommended.
Will I receive the RAW files of the images?

Our photography services include retouching tailored to the image’s purpose, based on the brief and approved shot list. This ensures that you receive images ready for use without the need for additional corrections. The final images will be provided in JPEG format.
Are revisions available after I receive the final images?

Our services includes 2 post-production correction packages.

A correction package is a detailed file in which the client compiles all comments and requests for post-production modifications in line with the shot list.
What additional costs should I consider?

Extra costs may include:
     1. Delivery and return shipping fees for products.
     2. Charges for hiring models, renting studio space, or acquiring special props for customized photoshoots.
     3. Product preparation like cleaning, stuffing, or steaming the item before photographing.
